How our community works

Mentorship, peer review and straight career advice — from senior developers who’ve shipped the thing you’re stuck on.

Mentorship, done right

Connect with people who’ve walked your path. Real mentors who’ve done the job — not a directory of names.

Connections, not contacts

We introduce you to the right people for your goals — not a feed of strangers to scroll past.

Career support, anytime

Advice, feedback, or just a sanity check on your next move — at any point in your career. No question’s too junior to ask.

Sharpen the craft

Code reviews, architecture sanity-checks and AMAs with people who’ve solved your problem at scale. The stuff you can’t Google.

No rockstars, no gatekeeping. Here, asking for help is the norm.

Common questions

What is the nothiring community? +
A private space where developers grow — mentorship, honest advice, peer feedback, and real connections. It’s not a job board, and it’s not just mentoring. It’s the senior peer group most developers never get at work.
Who is it for? +
Tech people who want to keep growing — from mid-senior developers to staff engineers, founding engineers and leads. If you care about the craft and about helping others, you’ll fit in.
How much does it cost? +
Nothing. Zero. Nada. The community is free and always will be — you’re a member, not a product. The honest version: nothiring also runs a technical recruiting agency, and companies pay us when they hire. That funds this. It doesn’t mean we’re shopping you around — joining puts you in zero processes.
Do I have to be job-hunting to join? +
No. Most members aren’t actively looking. You join to grow, to give back, and to be in the room. If the right opportunity shows up later, it comes to you — with full context, never spam.
Are you going to recruit me? +
Only if you ask us to. The agency pays for the community; the community is not the agency’s inventory. Most members never talk to us about jobs. If you ever want to hear about a role, you opt in — default is off.
